Dr.
Hunter Norris
Originally
from Chattanooga and graduating from McCallie High School,
Dr. Hunter Norris began his ophthalmology career here at
the Eye Care Center in 1991. He completed his medical school
training at UT in Memphis and then learned his eye surgery
skills at the University of Cincinnati.
His specialty is with surgery of the front of the eye with
interest in nonstitch cataract surgery, LASIK vision corrections,
glaucoma care, corneal transplants, and childhood eye exams.
Dr
Norris has served as President of the Nashville Academy
of Ophthalmology and the Coffee Co Medical Association.
Presently, he sits on the board of the Tullahoma Surgery
Center where a majority of his outpatient surgery is performed.
With his family of 3 sons, 3 step-daughters and wife Amy,
they attend Grace Baptist Church of Tullahoma. Dr. Norris
is an active Rotarian and has been the president of the Tullahoma
Little League. While participating with his children in baseball,
softball, soccer and soapbox derby racing, he himself enjoys
hiking, boating, biking and travel.
