Dr. Hunter Norris Dr. Hunter Norris, originally from Chattanooga, TN, began his career as an ophthalmologist with the Eye Care Center in 1991 after completing a comprehensive medical and surgical training program at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. His practice is termed anterior segment because it involves work at the front of the eye, including no-stitch cataract surgery, RK and laser vision correction, glaucoma surgery, corneal transplants and closed eye surgery. In addition to his expertise in these areas he enjoys working in the office with routine exams for adults and children. He serves as President of the Nashville Academy of Ophthalmology and has served as President of the Coffee County Medical Association and Vice-Chairman of the Harton Surgical Committee.
